Sheridan Funeral Home and Cremations went above and beyond any of the family's expectations in the difficult days and weeks following the passing of William Joe Eisele. Kerrie and her staff including Cheryl, Candy, Jessica and those behind the scenes showed so much empathy, care and compassion in our time of saying our final goodbyes. Jodi prepared such a beautiful video sideshow which depicted the beautiful life of Bill. They also prepared and provided a special private family viewing in their chapel which showed so much tenderness and care they gave Bill. Kerrie made herself available whether by telephone, office visits (scheduled or drop ins) text and emails. This process would have been more difficult to endure had it not been for Kerrie, her staff and the company's compassion and dedication to their profession in our community.

We were blessed by the care and support from the staff at Sheridan Funeral Home. Kerrie Kimmel was especially empathetic as she had recently lost her son. She and the staff went out of their way to produce a beautiful program and extra effort to make a video collage with pictures and 3 carefully sellected songs. Because our son Nathan Leikip was a Veteran, she handled all that was necessary for a full military funeral. We were very comfortable with the outpouring of love an care from all the staff and everything went smoothly that day. Thank-you and may your service in this area be blessed.

Losing a loved one is very difficult. Choosing Sheridan Funeral Home was the best decision we could have made. I was in the hospital when George passed away. George's wish was to be cremated so I assumed that would be done before I got released from the hospital. I was surprised the ladies prepared him for my final visit. This was very much appreciated but not expected. Thank you to Kerry, Kim and Jessica, for your professionalism, compassionate care, and for guiding me and my family through this difficult time. The process was smooth and without complications. Jessica took time to make a video that beautifully told the story of George's life. Many people commented on how well done it was. Mom wanted to be cremated, she informed us all for many years. When she finally made it to Heaven we had previously arranged for Sheridan Funeral Home to assist her body. No doubt we made the perfect decision. Like I said she wanted to be cremated, but there were members of the family who would like to say their final goodbyes so Sheridan Funeral home prepared a viewing. They didn't have to do anything she was to be cremated right? No they didn't 'have' to but they certainly went above and beyond and did. She was beautiful, a little makeup to brighten her cheeks, wash and dried her hair and yes styled it perfectly! Even so much as to drape her with a quilt which unbeknownst to them she was a quilter. God has placed these ladies in Sheridan and in doing so has blessed so many. Would I recommend Sheridan Funeral Home? Is that even a question? In my opinion there is no other to consider. When my mother passed away last spring, it had been many years since we had experienced a death in our family. Kim Kozel and Kerrie Kimmel gently guided our family through the necessary decisions and arrangements with compassion, experience, and expertise. We were surprised by the wide range of products and services they offer, and that many were included at no additional charge. Jessica's IT expertise was invaluable in creating a beautiful slideshow of photos for Mom's memorial service. Without her kindness and support, I don't think I would have been able to complete my part of the task. Sheridan Funeral Home’s compassionate, personal, and professional assistance eased the sorrow of losing two family members in close succession. Kerrie Kimmel and the entire team were there for our family, literally at any moment. Under difficult circumstances all was handled with grace and goodwill. Perhaps what I appreciate the most isn’t easy to pinpoint or put into words: Funerals and funeral homes can be lugubrious, maudlin, depressing, making a bid situation worse; however, Kerrie’s kindness and giving personality as well as the light-filled offices at Sheridan Funeral Home made planning for a sad event just a little bit easier. I also deeply appreciate the transparency in the fee structure. Options were presented openly with no attempt to “up sell”. As I told Kerrie, I hope we don’t need her help again soon; however, when we do, I have no doubt she will be by our sides all the way.
